I have seen students preparing for bank exams for years. I have also see a number of students of B.tech or M.B.A wanting to enter banks. Are you one of these?
Have you ever thought of the question that do you really want to become a bank PO? If yes then what’s the reason. And are you aware of the nature of the job that you will have to do as a PO. The reason for coming with the post is not to distract you. Recently the topper of IAS 2011 said in an interview that after joining banks she realized that she was not made for this job. Thus she started preparing for civil exams and qualified. Thus I wanted to make you give a second thought to something that describes what you will be doing for your life, yes your job.
In India, however there are very few lucky people who get the chance to do what they want to do in their life. There are a lot of factors that govern the choice of career in India and financial pressure is one of these. However we must try to chase our dreams if we want to remain happy with our performance in the long run. I just hope that everyone of you just go for a career of you interest that makes an excellent and happier worker.
